How did you get into art?
Basically through an old classmate of mine. Back then in 2010, she introduced me to anime and she was really good at drawing as well. She was the reason that sparked my interest for (anime) art at that time and at that point I really considered drawing as my hobby.
How did you learn how to draw?
I am self taught, as in "I never went to art school". All the knowledge that I have related to art is either from the internet or from my own observations. However, I only really started to seriously learn art in 2016, through the YouTube channel "Istebrak".
I also try to summarize my knowledge in art and refer to good content from other channels on YouTube.
Why did you call yourself "Chromatic Echoes" and what does it mean?
The name Chromatic Echoes is supposed to represent my main interests in art.
"Chromatic" is supposed to represent my interest for visual art & my interest in musical art is supposed to be represented by "Echoes".
Both of these words together as "Chromatic Echoes" is also supposed to represent my interest in cinematic art specifically.
The idea behind the name itself is based on the electromagnetic spectrum. Light and sound are part of that spectrum, so in a way there are the "same thing" just more "stretched", if that makes sense.
So, "Chromatic" (light) and "Echoes" (sound) are in a way both "connected" for me.
What inspires you?
Usually the media I consume, specifically music, and the things that I experience in real life inspire me a lot. There is a high chance that my brain automatically produces random visuals, while I listen to music. Whenever these visuals seem to be really interesting for me I try to note or sketch them down and repurpose and contextualize them for later use in my creative work.
Can I use your art?
Generally speaking: No, please do not use my art in any case. Specifically DO NOT use my art in any commercial or AI related context without my permission!
Exceptions to this rule would be explicitly stated on single works of mine.
When it comes to private usage of my art: You are allowed to use my art in any non-commercial way for your private use (e. g. using my artworks as wallpapers on your phone).
If you still have a demand to use my work publicly or commercially, then please contact me.
You can find my contact details on "About & Contact".
If you want to hire me, then you can find information for that on "Commission".
